An adjustable focus collimator is an optical component that can adjust the collimation or working distance of the output beam within a certain range. It is used for collimating the output beam from an optical fiber, as well as for coupling free-space light into an optical fiber. By rotating the outer sleeve of the collimator, the internal optical lens can be moved forward or backward along the optical axis, thereby adjusting the distance between the lens and the fiber end face to achieve different spot sizes.
