Calcium Fluoride (CaF₂)

Calcium fluoride (CaF₂) crystals offer high transmittance and excellent long-term radiation stability, making them widely used in optical instruments. With the advancement of lithography toward shorter wavelengths, CaF₂ has become the preferred material for extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography objective lenses. In addition, CaF₂ is also used in the production of important chemical reagents such as hydrogen fluoride, fluorine gas, and other fluorides.

  • Broad transmission range and low refractive index

  • Stable mechanical properties

  • Non-hygroscopic
