The corner cube prism is composed of four faces. Among them, three faces are mutually perpendicular right-angle faces, and the fourth face is the base face, which forms equal angles with the other three faces. The working principle mainly relies on total reflection - no matter from which angle the incident light comes, it can precisely reflect the light back along the original path.
Auto-collimation: It can return the light as long as it enters its effective aperture, without requiring precise alignment.
Large tolerance for incident angle.
High-precision corner cube prisms are difficult to manufacture and costly.
