Different Types of Laser Fiber Collimators

Rays Optics offers a complete range of aspheric lens collimators in three configurations: bare aspheric collimators, pigtailed versions with fiber, and polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber variants. Engineered with precision aspheric optics, they deliver exceptional beam collimation and coupling efficiency with near-diffraction-limited performance across UV to NIR wavelengths. Ideal for laser diode collimation, fiber coupling, and interferometric applications.
We provide two main series of fiber optic collimators: single-mode fiber collimators and polarization-maintaining fiber collimators. They convert divergent light exiting optical fibers into uniform parallel beams with ultra-low insertion loss. Widely adopted in fiber lasers, optical communication, precision optical sensing and laser testing systems.
Our achromatic lens collimators maintain consistent beam collimation across broad wavelength ranges, minimizing chromatic aberration for precise multi-wavelength applications.
Our adjustable focus collimators enable precise in-situ beam spot tuning with exceptional stability and repeatability for flexible optical setups.
Our fiberport coupler enable precision alignment across all degrees of freedom, ensuring optimal beam positioning and long-term stability.
Our large-beam collimators deliver stable, collimated output with high power handling and uniform intensity for demanding industrial applications.
We supply a complete lineup of long distance collimators, including 100M, 300M collimating lenses and ultra-long-range collimators. Capable of outputting highly parallel laser beams steadily across far distances, they feature excellent beam stability, perfectly suited for outdoor laser ranging, optical detection and long-distance light transmission projects.

FAQs of Laser Fiber Collimator

FAQs of Laser Fiber Collimator
FAQS-

How should collimators be maintained and cleaned?

  • Avoid touching the lens surface.

  • If cleaning is required, use dedicated optical lens tissue or a lint-free cotton swab moistened with an appropriate amount of anhydrous ethanol or optical cleaning solution. Gently wipe from the center outward.

  • For polarization-maintaining collimators, take care to protect the fiber pigtail and avoid bending it with too small a radius.

  • When not in use for an extended period, store the collimator in a dry, clean environment and install dust caps.
