Green Optical Glass

Green optical colored glass is a type of optical filter material that exhibits high transmittance in the green region of the visible spectrum while demonstrating absorption/cutoff characteristics at both the red and blue ends. It achieves selective spectral absorption through the doping of specific metal ions into the glass matrix, making it a bandpass filter glass. In optical systems, it is used to extract the green band while suppressing red and blue stray light.

  • Bandpass characteristics achieved in a single element

  • Dual-end cutoff realized without the need for coatings

  • Relatively wide FWHM
