JGS3

JGS3 is an infrared-grade synthetic fused silica glass made by vacuum electrofusion with nearly zero hydroxyl content. It offers high transmittance from 260 nm to 3500 nm, no absorption at 2600–2800 nm, and excellent thermal stability. Widely used for IR windows, detectors, laser components and aerospace optical systems.

  • Thermal shock resistance

  • Visible and near-infrared dual-band transmission

  • Not suitable for ultraviolet use
